Why Hire Me?I have dedicated my 28-year career in education to working with teenagers, and I'm committed to helping them discover their passions and successfully navigate the intricate world of college admissions.
The first 17 years of my career were spent in the classroom where I honed my expertise teaching English at The Archer School for Girls, a highly regarded independent school in LA's Brentwood neighborhood, and at Agoura High School in Las Virgenes Unified School District. In 2014, a move to Irvine, CA prompted my pivotal career shift into college counseling and the start of Allegiant College Consulting. Since then, I have remained dedicated to supporting students through the college selection and application process. Having worked with over 2,400 students providing valuable feedback on over 8,500 essays, I have the expertise and experience to help students manage application requirements and deadlines while assisting them in finding their unique voices when writing college essays. As an active member of HECA (Higher Education Consultants Association) and WACAC (Western Association for College Admissions Counseling) and having earned an IEC certificate from UC Irvine, I remain focused on evolving college trends and data. I am deeply committed to giving my students honest and strategic guidance in their college admissions journey. |
